Diana Loiacono, M.Ed.


Diana is a passionate and dedicated educator with years of experience teaching children of many backgrounds. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education from St. Joseph's University. After starting her teaching career and becoming fascinated by the process of learning, she enrolled at Rutgers University and completed her Master of Education degree in Learning, Cognition, and Development. Diana taught as a special educator in New Jersey for over 16 years in inclusive and resource room settings.  Wanting to better serve her students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and other learning differences, she completed her Orton-Gillingham certification through Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2018 and then went on to receive her Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner certification in 2019. Diana is a lifelong learner who is endlessly fascinated by learning and literacy! She regularly attends professional development to understand the latest research and maintain the highest level of professional expertise.


Diana is a champion of neurodivergent students and believes that every child can be successful when they receive instruction that is designed for their unique needs. She enjoys creating safe, caring, and positive relationships with her students and designs engaging lessons that center their interests, talents, and hobbies. Her goal is to help students see themselves as capable learners. Diana embraces students from all backgrounds and looks forward to being a part of their success!
